ChiroEurope Privacy Policy

‚ChiroEurope’ encompasses ChiroEurope Seminars, individual self development courses run by the owners, Kick Ass Practices / Coaching. This privacy policy will explain how our organization uses the personal data we collect from you when you use our website.

What data do we collect?

Depending on the event we collect your name, address / location, telephone number(s), email, professional status (DC/DC2B/CA/other), tax file numbers, for paid events your payment details through our ticketing software.

How do we collect your data?

In most instances you will have actively provided us with this information in accordance with your desire to be part of the ChiroEurope community, to be in communication with us, and / or to participate in events offered by us. In all other circumstances you will have provided us with this information through an online form which populates our database. We never scrape your information from 3rd parties. 

How will we use your data?

The data will be used to provide ongoing communication about our events, when possible targeted to your professional status / geographical location. It will be used to process ticket / event purchases, provide legal documents eg receipts or certificates of participation. We have not in the past nor do we intend to share / sell your information to any 3rd parties. 

How do we store your data?

Primary contact information is stored on GDPR compliant servers with MailerLite. You can find their privacy document here. Detailed information is stored on local computers with antivirus / password protection. Unless directed by you we will retain your core contact information and remain in communication with you for as long as you give us permission. Information gathered in the processing of tickets is held on servers owned by BlueHost. For their privacy policy click here.  In the event communication lapses for more than 2 years, we will remove your data. You will be able to rejoin at will should this occur. 

Marketing

ChiroEurope offers a range of seminars, professional and self development courses throughout the year, within Europe, and internationally. We use your information to keep you up to date with upcoming events, along with the opportunity to register / pay for those events. We may recommend complimentary services or companies, but will not share or sell your information to them.

Use of Photographs / Videos of you

When you attend one of our events, it is normal practice for us to take still photographs and / or videos to record for future marketing, promotion and education. Your active participation / decision to attend is taken as permission given to allow this to happen. 

What are your data protection rights?

You are entitled to ask what data we hold on your behalf, and at your request we will erase any information we hold. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you. If you would like to exercise any of these rights, please contact us by email

We currently do not use cookies on our website. In the event this changes, you will be informed of such updates.

We do not actively reroute you to other websites, and any data collection will always be done under the ChiroEurope umbrella. In the event that a link is provided, our privacy policy applies only to our website, so if you click on a link to another website, you should read their privacy policy.

Changes to our privacy policy

We will inform you of any changes / updates to this policy in a timely manner on this page, in accordance with changes to either our website, use of cookies, associated 3rd parties for information distribution or ticket processing. We will assume you are in agreement with any of these changes, if not on your request we can delete your data in accordance with the above paragraph.
